Here is little story of my EARTHSHAKER :)
EARTHSHAKER was born .. honor and thanks to designer Jiri "GEJZA" Zagura.
The idea of getting a scrambler matured in my mind for about 3 years. First, two years ago I bought a BMW R 90/6, year 1974, I bought it in Germany and its condition was so great that I was sorry to rebuild it.
That's why I bought in last year my second bike-R 80, 1984. I approached my friend Jiri Zagura, a well-known designer, and agreed to build a BMW R 80 scrambler. Jiri is fan and designer of several "street", which he built in the 90s on contracts and his work won a few awards. The basic idea was to build a machine in the style of "minimal" and a little "army".
After frequent consultations we have always reached harmony on the individual parts, colors and overall impression of the bike. We were inspired by Walzwerk motorcycles, but Jiri gave them an added value in terms of details, which he tuned to perfection, thanks to his carefulness! Despite the initial problems, such as choosing the right color for the engine, when we had to regrind and paint the engine part, the work began to flourish and our
EARTHSHAKER was slowly born in GARAGE 314! Individual components were purchased in Walzwerk,
Caferacewebshop and engine parts in BMW Bayer. Thanks you for the heart Jiri, for the perfect, careful and great work, for the strong nerves! Carrying his sign "GARAGE 314" on the EARTHSHAKER engine block is an honor for me!
