This BMW R80 Custom build was made by Vetvlek Garage in 2021/2022
It's a serious bike with serious money invested in it with only AAA+ parts and lots of 1-off custom parts. No expense has been spared and a lot has also been done in terms of the motor. It has driven just 1000 km since completion.
A small impression of everything that has been done:
- Professionally sprayed by Bram van 't Rood - Red's Paint. Blue with pinstripe and the BMW emblem is painted and varnished to match
- Custom saddle upholstered by Jeroen van (Silvermachine)
- Handmade exhaust system consisting of 100+ loose welded pie-cuts with custom Spark's quality mufflers
- Frame, wheels, subframe, loose parts powder coated + varnished
- Custom original BMW headlight with cafe racer fairing
- CNC machined triple clamp with integrated starter button
- Monolever custom made single-sided license plate suspension with integrated lighting.
- CNC custom made upper fork bushings
- Motogadget M-Unit digitally controlled electrics
- Completely new custom invisible wiring harness. Everything either runs in the frame or is concealed. Nothing is soldered or made with cheap plugs. All AMP or Japanese connectors.
- Custom cast aluminum air filter box eliminator so no plastic mess
- Custom BMW R51 6-fin valve covers
- Lowered front fork with Hyperpro springs
- Hidden lithium battery in engine block
- Carburetors painted in black Cerakote
- Modified left crash bar with fog light
- New piston rings and ground valves
- All block bearings, gaskets and seals have been replaced
- Concealed GPS tracker from a Dutch manufacturer
- Detachable 2-person option
