KTM 250 EXC Enduro tracker
Unique motorcycle with no expense spared. The base is a 2002 KTM 250 EXC that I worked on for almost 5 years. Each part is custom made, replaced or overhauled step by step. The result is a jewel of a two-stroke in perfect technical condition. A brief summary of the work performed:
- Engine overhaul with new piston, gaskets, seals, etc.
- New tank, seat, fender and headlight custom made and painted
- New custom subframe with rear light and license plate holder
- Frame and various other parts re-powder coated
- WP shock absorber overhauled (new spring, seals, bushes and tension ring)
- WP front fork overhauled (new bushes and seals)
- New steering wheel, throttle, grips and mirror
- New exhaust (bend and muffler)
- Carburetor with revision kit, other jets and air filter
- New chain and sprockets (ratio is now good for road use)
- Brakes and clutch overhauled (new interior, handles and blocks)
- Wheels refurbished and fitted with new bearings, bushes and seals
- New tires and inner tubes (Continental TKC 80)
The original KTM colors have been used for the paintwork, RAL2009 and RAL7016, in combination with OEM stickers. If desired, I have a whole collection of photos and invoices of the construction process from start to finish.
Ready for all events in the upcoming motorcycle season! I'm in no immediate rush to sell, but I'll be glad if it can make room for a new project. Just for the record, this is definitely not a beginner's bike. Essentially, it is still a two-stroke enduro with a temperament to match.
