For sale is a unique BMW R100 RS that has been professionally restored and converted into a scrambler. Hundreds of hours of painstaking work were invested in this project and the partial cost totaled over €22,000. All modifications were carried out in close cooperation with the TÜV, so that the motorcycle is now fully registered and road legal.
Particularly noteworthy is the completely overhauled engine, which was brought back into top condition for around €6,500. Although the motorcycle dates from 1987, it presents itself as a new vehicle both technically and visually. It only has 500 km on the clock and hasn't even been broken in yet. Thanks to the overhaul with modern components, the motorcycle now rides significantly better than when it was delivered from the factory, but without losing its charm.
An extensive parts list including relevant pricing is provided to highlight the value and quality of the work carried out.
Here are the most relevant conversions in detail:
- Engine & transmission rebuild including conversion to new valve covers
- Frame optimized, blasted and powder coated
- Conversion to a manufactured one-seat construction including Kellermann Bullet
- Stainless steel exhaust system with Hattech rear silencers
- Carburettor rebuild including open air filter
- Scrambler handlebars including new fittings (e.g. Ducati brake pump)

Of course everything is registered and approved by the TÜV.
All questions are welcome. :)
