The Dyna III prolongs the life of the plug and enables quicker starts. The Dyna III Electronic Ignition enhances the high RPM coil's energy storage by about 70% by removing breaker points and condensers. The Dyna III lets the coils reach their maximum current and provides a more powerful, steady charge to the plugs for optimal operating efficiency, especially at high RPMs. 

There is no effect of dirt, moisture, oil, or vibration on the sealed aluminum module. Although it can be used with other coils that offer at least 3 to 5 Ohms of primary resistance, this ignition was meant to be used with standard coils.
