The Grand Tourer Rack is more capable for longer sojourns into the countryside than our Skirmish Mini Rack, thus in addition to fitting beneath the frame, it also uses the shock bolt mounts for extra brace to support a bit more weight. The primary loading section of the rack also has a number of tie down brackets welded on so you can strap your luggage up tight. It is also helpful to park your bike perfectly in parking area.
