The "TANK CURE" products are manufactured by Poly-Service. With their kit you can clean the inside of your fuel tank in a professional way. This fuel-resistant tank seal is very common in the Netherlands, Germany, England and Belgium. Users have more than 15 years of very satisfactory experience with this kit. It can be applied to various surfaces such as steel, aluminum, polyester and carbon fiber.

These products form an ideal base before applying our tank kit. We briefly explain each product:
Tank cleaner "TANK CURE".
This is a strong cleaning fluid to remove the grease from your tank. We recommend always using this product because it guarantees good adhesion of the sealant to the surface of the petrol tank. Especially if you apply the sealant in a tank for a two-stroke engine, it is necessary to use the tank cleaner first.
"TANK CURE" Rust remover
Tanks with a rusted interior can be treated very well with this product. We recommend using the Rust Remover if the inside of your tank is heavily corroded.
"TANK CURE" Epoxy Remover
This product removes all old layers of paint and/or sealant. Only use this product if you want to apply a new sealant or if you intend to weld on your tank. You only need this product if you want to remove old sealant or paint layers or if welding is required on a tank that contains sealant.
For a motorcycle tank you need 1/2 liter Tank Cleaner and 1/2 liter Rust Remover.
What can you achieve with our Tank Sealant?
Fitting the tank seal
To guarantee a good result, you should always do some preparation to your tank. Before applying the sealant, the tank must be absolutely dry, free of grease and practically free of rust. It is strongly recommended to use our TANK CURE Cleaner and TANK CURE Rust Remover according to our usage guidelines to ensure a good result. These products have been extensively tested in combination with our Tank Sealant.
"TANK CURE" tank seal is based on a 2 component epoxy resin. After adding the two components, stir well for a few minutes, empty the jerry can into your petrol tank and close the filler opening properly. Now slowly turn the tank in all directions. Keep turning for about 15 to 20 minutes. The sealant must touch all surfaces several times to form a good layer. Now open the filler cap and turn the tank upside down to drain as much sealant as possible.
On the market you will find various products to treat petrol tanks. Whichever product you plan to use: It is very important to apply enough caulk to completely cover the inside of your tank. Since you cannot see into the tank during the sealing process, you should be on the safe side. Experience shows that you need about 450 grams for a petrol tank of 15 to 20 liters. "TANK CURE" supplies two standard packages of kit. A 450 gram package for motorcycle tanks up to 20 liters and a 600 gram package for car tanks up to 60 liters.
