For sale: Yamaha XV750 Virago Custom Streetbike

This Yamaha XV handmade street bike is a one-off and therefore unique item. It goes under the name 'Chiefpep No.2' referring to the designer and builder Chiefpep and is the second copy of Chiefpep Design. Chiefpep is known for specializing in the monoshock Yamaha XV 750 Virago from the years 1981-1983. Also best known for the successful Chiefpep Youtube channel. During a series of more than 60 episodes, this Chiefpep No.2 motorcycle was built and enthusiastically followed every week by about 60,000 fans and now almost 17,000 subscribers from all over the world. By looking back through the series, you can see with what special attention each part of this motorcycle has been built, replaced or modified.

The bike recently (November 2019) received an honorable mention during the presentation at the Benelux BigTwin Bike Show.

Special features of the Chiefpep No. 2:

• Every replaced part comes from a Yamaha motorcycle
• 48mm FJR 1300 completely overhauled front fork legs and brake calipers
• Yamaha Diversion 900 cast wheels are fresh despite the offset rear
• Every wear part (brake discs, brake pads, bearings, seals, gaskets, piston rings) has been replaced by a new, original one
• Engine block has been treated with a wet blast method to be back in original condition

• 'Barebone wiring' does not leave any visible wire on the motorcycle
• All the outsourced work is done by the best craftsmen from the Netherlands, including: Saddle upholstery by Ellermeyer upholstery, tank treatment and spraying BVT Nieuwegein, metalworking Rezelman Alkmaar, wet blasting by Ginneke Almere.
